new york city – BOOOOOOOM! – CREATE * INSPIRE * COMMUNITY * ART * DESIGN * MUSIC * FILM * PHOTO * PROJECTS

I am a photographer from Upstate NY, now based in NYC. I’ve been able to work on some personal projects over the last couple years with one taking place in a small town in the UK on a group of pilots and Wing Walkers. While photographing the team at the Bournemouth Airshow in 2022 it was funny to walk around at the air show and look at the crowd. It was like walking through a wax sculpture museum. Most people completely still with their gaze set to the sky above them set to the somewhat deafening sound of the planes flying past. You’d see heads turn or the long lenses of the crowds all move in perfect unison kind of like the spectators at a tennis match. I think today with the extreme pace of the world it was nice to watch people standing so quiet and intent for minutes on end. This just happened to be a kind of fun byproduct of the Wing Walker project, photographing the onlookers instead of the parade of planes looked upon.
